Security is not a product but a process...
The month of June is almost coming to a close and AT&T has just managed to slot in the June security patch to the Galaxy Note 4. The update arrives as software version N910AUCS2EQF1 and is being seeded over the air. Your device will need to be on software version N910AUCS2EQE1 to receive this update. Though the Note 4 was left out of the Nougat update, Samsung has been keeping it healthy with security patches.

This update installs the latest security patch on your Note 4 ensuring that it stays safe from the hands of hackers, malware and viruses. The update also patches up newly found vulnerabilities in the system. Things like the Wannacry bug and so on are dealt with using security patches, so it is always a good thing to update your smartphone.

The update isn’t that big in size, weighing in less than 30MB on both the devices, but we suggest you to download over WiFi just to be on the safe side. Before installing the update, ensure that your important data, files, music, photos etc. are backed up safely in your PC. Again this is just as a safety precaution.

If you haven’t received the update notification on your Note 4 or Note Edge yet, you can try looking in Settings » About » Software update. It usually takes a while to fully dispatch an OTA update so you may need to wait. 4
