Google recently rolled out an update for the all-new redesigned Google Drive. This update brings Material Re-Designed Fresh Look and better sorting and grouping of files and folder. New document scanners and performance improvements are cherries on the cake.

1) New Material Design
Google keeps improving its most popular material design language and the new drive design is a brainer. Fresh and colorful looks.
2) New Files and Folder Layout
This update brings an entirely new way to sort files. The new Layout has starred, shared, and drive folders all in separate tabs.
3) Managing Notifications is Easy
Earlier there was no way to retrieve google drive notifications. Now they have sorted with a new notification section in the drive app itself.
4) Updated Camera algorithm and Performance Improvements.
They are improving the camera algorithm that is used to scan documents and upload them to drive. Also now the drive is a little snappier and faster than the previous version. All new features are a worthy upgrade.
