Acer launched 3 laptops in the ongoing CES 2018 in Las Vegas with the Swift 7 being the most noteworthy of the 3.

The Acer Swift 7 is the thinnest laptop in the world. It's a mere 8.98 millimetres thick making it even thinner than the previous version. It is 1.52 millimetres thinner than the HP Spectre 13 and a whopping 4.38 millimetres slimmer than the Apple MacBook.


The Acer Swift 7 is powered by Intel's 7th generation i7 Y series processor. It has a 256 GB SSD and 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It is LTE enabled and has a built-in SIM card slot. The world's thinnest laptop also contains twin USB Type-C ports and a 10 hour battery life.

The Acer Swift 7 is the third lightest 14 inch  laptop at 2.5 pounds slightly behind Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon and the new LG Gram at 2.49 and 2.16 pounds respectively.

The Acer Swift 7 will put you back by US $1,699 and will be available for purchase in North America from March 2018.
